This is more of a quick thank you post for the surprising and incredible support that you all have shown me this week. You all have helped me overcome small fears, and encouraged me to not give up on my dreams.
So, THANK YOU!
Now, how about that PowerBall jackpot, huh????
I generally think that buying a lottery ticket is pretty dumb, and wasteful to say the least. Yet, I do advocate buying a lottery ticket when the jackpot is ridiculously high, and not for the reason you may think. I say do it, because that $2 ticket provides the best entertainment money can buy for that day or two it sits in your car/wallet/purse/safe/vault/whatev
I’ve purchased lottery tickets, eh… 4 times in my life, probably. I’ve checked to see if I won the lottery, once out of those 4.
Those four days, and today is one of them, were the most incredible daydreaming days of my life.
I was the worlds greatest philanthropist and home builder ever, in my mind. I decided which two cars I would buy, yes only two. What businesses I would start, what one time family gifts I would give and to whom. Man, it was incredible. I’m a pretty nice imaginary millionaire. Which would mean that I would probably lose it all like the rest of them. Lucky for me, I have a frugal and much smarter wife that would not allow me to be stupid, “Thanks Honey!”
Anyways, it’s a lot of fun to fantasize about what you would do with your life. What is more interesting and what I have thought about, today at least. In my millionaire daydreaming, what actions do I take, and what does that say about me at my core? As a non-millionaire, who am I? Would money help me make the world better or worse? Am I currently making the world better or worse??
These are all things to think about, and wonder, but either way good luck if you bought a ticket. I hope you win!!
Lastly, I want to again thank those of you that have taken the time out of your day to read anything I wrote this week. It means so much, and whether you think 300 views is a lot or not, it was more than I ever expected, and it’s just the starting point. THANK YOU & have a great weekend!
